Tube settlers offer an inexpensive method of upgrading existing water treatment plant clarifiers and sedimentation basins to improve performance. They can also reduce the tankage/footprint required in new installations or improve the performance of existing settling basins by reducing the solids loading on downstream filters.

How Tube Settlers Work

Tube settlers improve sedimentation by utilising multiple tubular channels, sloped at an 60° angle, to provide an expanded settling surface. As water flows through the channels, solids settle out more quickly, increasing clarifier efficiency without requiring additional footprint expansion. This process enhances pre-treatment for filtration, reduces backwash frequency, and lowers overall treatment costs.
