Type I Water
Required for molecular biology, HPLC, and analytical applications. FILTEC’s systems deliver ultrapure water with resistivity ≥18 MΩ·cm and TOC ≤10 ppb. Typically used at the point of use with UV, deionisation, and final filtration to prevent interference in high-sensitivity laboratory procedures.
Type II Water
Ideal for general laboratory tasks, media preparation, and clinical diagnostics. Produced through reverse osmosis followed by ion exchange or UV, this water meets resistivity standards ≥1 MΩ·cm and is often used to feed Type I systems or for non-critical experiments.
Type III Water
Suitable for feed water to glassware washers, autoclaves, or pre-treatment stages. Produced by basic reverse osmosis or filtration, Type III water removes the majority of dissolved solids and chlorine, supporting cleaning and utility functions in both medical and lab settings.
