Synlait Milk LTD Water Treatment Plant Upgrade
Plant Design and Build, where the FILTEC had total responsibility for supply, installation and commissioning to provide a fully functioning water treatment system for process and boiler feed water. Due to this the water quality had to be of high quality to meet the downstream requirements.
Urgent ultrafiltration system delivered to Australian winery
Mitchelton Wines, located in Victoria, Australia, needed to urgently replace their two ultrafiltration systems that were destroyed by floods. They use ultrafiltration to purify water for wine processing and drinking water for their guest facilities. The winery is situated on the banks of the Goulburn River, which has agricultural and town stormwater runoff containing pollutants and organic matter.
Rural drinking water supply to remote communities
To address unsafe rural drinking water supply in small remote communities, a pilot Rural Drinking Water programme was launched. In New Zealand rural kāinga (villages), marae, papakāinga and kōhanga reo currently equate to 23 percent of total registered water supplies that are not connected to town water supplies.
