Customer Need
Plant Design and Build, where the FILTEC had total responsibility for supply, installation and commissioning to provide a fully functioning water treatment system for process and boiler feed water. Due to this the water quality had to be of high quality to meet the downstream requirements.
What We Did
FILTEC provided both reverse osmosis and ion-exchange technologies to meet the stringent quality requirements.
FILTEC was awarded this job from a competitive tender situation. FILTEC was the main contractor at this project with an electrical subcontractor.
The Results
FILTEC project managers successfully managed the mechanical installation team, the equipment suppliers and the electrical and automation subcontractors.
The mechanical fabrication and installation was undertaken in house, by a FILTEC fabrication team.
