Multi-Site UV Disinfection Upgrades for MidCoast Council
MidCoast Council required UV disinfection upgrades across four sewage treatment plants to improve reliability and maintain wastewater discharge compliance. Existing UV systems were nearing end of life and required replacement with modern, energy-efficient technology.
FILTEC was engaged as lead contractor to design, supply and install Wedeco LBX UV systems, including full integration with existing infrastructure. The upgrades were delivered across live, operational sites, requiring careful staging and coordination to minimise disruption while ensuring safe and compliant outcomes.

Wedeco LBX UV System Replacement and Integration
FILTEC delivered UV system upgrades using Wedeco LBX technology, selected for its wastewater disinfection performance and suitability for retrofit applications. The upgrade scope included:
