Salamander Hydraclam Monitoring System
The Hydraclam is a crucial component of the Clamnet system, which includes sensors, telemetered data loggers, a mobile app, and a web portal. It’s designed to be versatile and efficient, capable of monitoring and reporting turbidity, chlorine, conductivity, temperature, and pressure data from hydrants or other points on the water mains network.
Xylem Chloroclam
The Chloroclam® water quality monitor accesses the water main via the hydrant point, to continually monitor and report chlorine residual data from the water distribution network enabling proactive management. Simply locate the Chloroclam water quality monitor within the fire hydrant, attach the adapter to the hydrant valve and the system will provide data to the user via the GPRS network. Using high accuracy industry standard sensing, the design has been optimised to ensure minimal water flows through the system to waste.

The Hydraclam® Water Quality Monitor is a purpose-built system for monitoring water quality parameters within the potable water distribution system. It can either be adapted to fit directly onto a fire hydrant, which are typically found in chambers, located in most streets, or via a sample tapping located anywhere in the reticulation system.
