Dispose of Used UV Lamps Responsibly
FILTEC's Lamp Recycling Service provides New Zealand municipal, industrial and commercial customers with a convenient and environmentally responsible way to recycle used UV lamps from supported UV treatment systems.
Keeping Hazardous UV Lamp Waste Out of Landfill
UV lamps used in water treatment systems contain mercury and specialised materials that should not enter standard landfill streams. For many organisations, disposing of used UV lamps can be difficult, time-consuming and unclear.
By integrating recycling into replacement lamp supply, FILTEC helps customers manage hazardous UV lamp waste safely, responsibly and with minimal operational hassle while supporting circular resource recovery and reducing hazardous landfill waste across New Zealand.
