FILTEC celebrated the official opening of FILTEC House, our new Headquarters in Auckland on 21 October 2026, welcoming customers, industry partners, staff and guests to mark an important milestone in FILTEC’s growth and enjoy the celebrations.
The Hon. Simon Watts, Minister for Auckland joined our Managing Director, Matt Ewen for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event provided an opportunity to bring together the people and organisations who have contributed to FILTEC's growth. It also showcased our purpose-built facility, designed to further increase our engineering, fabrication and project delivery capacity for both current projects and future water infrastructure projects across New Zealand and Australia.
A Few Words from our Managing Director
The opening of FILTEC House marks a significant milestone for FILTEC and provided a fantastic opportunity to recognise and thank the incredible people who made it possible, while celebrating this achievement in our new workplace. The purpose-built, owner-occupied facility brings our engineering, manufacturing, warehousing and office operations together under one roof, creating a collaborative environment to support our continued growth.
This investment reflects FILTEC’s confidence in the future of the water sector and our commitment to building the people, expertise and capability needed to deliver New Zealand’s significant water infrastructure investment programme.
Greater Capacity to Deliver Water Treatment Solutions
Guests were taken on a tour of FILTEC House, including our fabrication workshop, warehouse, engineering, product and support offices, training facilities and shared staff spaces. The workshop features a new 5-tonne gantry with greater lifting height, allowing us to fabricate even larger water treatment systems.
Guests were able to see first-hand how the new purpose-built headquarters brings engineering, fabrication and support teams closer together for an even more collaborative and efficient approach across all stages of project design and delivery.

The official opening was an opportunity to acknowledge the customers, partners and industry representatives whose ongoing trust and collaboration continue to support FILTEC’s growth and delivery of specialist water treatment solutions.
