Customer Need

Filtec was contracted by Whakatane District Council to supply and install equipment for the purpose of automatic dosing of chlorine gas at Breamar Springs pump station.

What We Did

Supply and install equipment for the purpose of automatic dosing of chlorine gas at Breamar Springs pump station.

This system was installed in the new building supplied by the council adjacent to existing water plant. Included is alarm system for chlorine leaks with telemetry back to Whakatane Plant for monitoring. 

Electrical fit out of the new building was within scope and installation of drum trolley for easy access of chlorine pickups.

The Results

The system met all required performance tests and tests after completion.
