Carbon block filters are widely used in water treatment to provide taste and odour control. Carbon Block Filter Cartridges will reduce Sediments, Chlorine, Taste, Odours, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), and Turbidity through absorption.
The 20″x4.5″ Jumbo version provides high flow rates. Carbon filters should have a sediment filter in front to ensure long filter life.
Replacement frequency depends on source water quality and water usage. However, sediment filters should be replaced at least every year for hygiene.
